Another cast-on that I use often I call the rib cast-on. It's a variation of the long-tail cast-on that produces an elastic edge that looks really good with ribbing. You can watch Eunny Yang from Knitting Daily Tv demonstate it!

I am soon ready to publish a new pattern, it is being test knit as I type! The pattern, Josefine, is another moebius in an open lace pattern, and as with the Mesh Moebius it is important to cast off loosely. Once again, Jeny Staiman has come up with a good one, and you can see a tutorial video here:
